Sebastian-Vero Beach Area Make Largest Jump in Population Ranks

In a recent population analysis by LawnStarter.com, Sebastian and Vero Beach made the biggest move, jumping nine spots from its ranking in 2015.

Overall, the analysis shows a trend of people moving to small towns like Vero. Ten metro areas with fewer than 220,000 residents moved up at least five spots in the 2016 population rankings.

As one of the few cities on Florida’s East Coast that still has a small town feel and a low cost of living, it makes sense that retirees and families are making their way to Vero Beach.

It’s time you’ve joined the other happy Vero residents that have made the move. There are only six homes left in Vero Lago, so contact the sales team today to claim one for yourself before they’re all sold out.

Surge in New Home Sales Expected to Keep Strong for Foreseeable Future

Nsold-keysew home sales surged more than 6% in February, to their highest levels in seven months, according to a recent report from CNN Money.

Citing “renewed optimism, wage and job growth, and consumer confidence,” experts expect the economy to continue gaining momentum, and with it, the housing market will continue to rise.

“Taking into account a wide variety of indicators, the housing market continues to march higher. We expect further gains this year,” said Barclays economist Rob Martin.

Just as the overall economy boosts the real estate market, the upturn in housing is benefiting other companies, such as natural gas and electric utility NiSource. In an analyst day presentation earlier this month, the company’s executive VP Pablo Vegas spoke on how the company is “benefiting from a solid housing market that shows no signs of overheating.”

“We’re not at the peaks of 2007, we’re not at the lows of 2010, we’re actually on an upswing. And the current economic conditions as they look, we think there’s a lot of good opportunity to continue to take advantage of the new construction market,” Vegas said.

To take advantage of the opportunities in new construction homes, contact the Vero Lago sales team to claim your place in Vero Beach’s most coveted community. Don’t wait, only six homes are still available.
